Are the cat licks just another treat?
We like to think of it as a daily wellness ritual. While it’s certainly delicious enough to be a treat, mio is intentionally crafted to do more. Unlike standard treats designed for taste alone, every recipe features 100% real meat protein and science-led, functional ingredients specifically designed for targeted health and nutritional support. It’s a purposeful boost that turns any snack time or meal into an act of care for your cat’s long-term health.

Are there any artificial additives, preservatives or fillers?
Nope. Our product is made with NO artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, grains or unnecessary fillers—only what your cat needs.

Is there any added salt and sugar in the cat sticks?
We do not add salt and sugar. Made to keep your cat healthy without compromising on taste.

Are the cat licks suitable for all cat breeds and ages?
Our cat licks are suitable for cats aged 3 months and above.

How do I use mio cat licks?
You can serve directly from the stick as a snack or nutritional boost, or add to meals as a topper.

How many can I give my cat per day?
For cats under 1 year old, we recommend 1–2 sticks per day. For cats 1 year and above, you can feed up to 3 sticks per day, depending on their size, activity level, and overall diet. 

Can I add the cat licks with dry or wet food?
Yes, they make the perfect meal topper! Beyond adding a functional nutritional boost, the meat puree texture and natural flavours turn any standard meal into a delicious nutrient-packed feast.

What is the shelf life of the cat sticks?
Unopened sticks can be consumed within 24 months from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is printed on the back of each stick and pack.

How do you ensure product safety and quality?
Our products are manufactured in a BRCGS, ISO and HACCP certified facility, with production processes aligned to internationally recognised standards in America (FDA) & Europe (CE). Each product undergoes strict QC testing and 121°C sterilisation to effectively destroy bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. 

How should I store mio cat licks?
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate the leftovers and use within 24 hours.

I have a very picky cat, would the food be suitable?
Yes. mio’s real meat taste and smooth puree texture makes it highly appealing, even for picky cats.

Can dogs eat mio cat licks?
While it’s not harmful, Mio is specifically formulated for cats. 

Are all SKUs made with real meat?
Yes, all of our formulas use 100% human-grade meat.

What omega does it contain and where do the omega oils come from?
Our Triple Omega cat licks contain Omega-3, 6 & 9 from a premium blend of salmon, antarctic krill, antarctic krill oil, fish oil, and sunflower seed oil.

What is the flavour?
Our Salmon & Antarctic Krill formula is crafted with a base of premium chicken breast to ensure a palatable profile that cats love. Our recipes are free from artificial flavour and attractants. We rely on the natural, savoury taste of high-quality meat.

What are prebiotics and postbiotics? and why not probiotics?
Prebiotics are nutrients that feed good gut bacteria, while postbiotics are beneficial compounds produced to support gut health. Unlike probiotics (live bacteria), prebiotics and postbiotics are more stable and easier to deliver effectively in wet food.
